WHAT WE DO:
Log a Load for Kids

Log a Load for Kids Logo

Log A Load for Kids (LAL) is a nationwide giving campaign through which loggers and others in the forest industry contribute to local Children's Miracle Network (CMN) hospitals and organize CMN fundraising events. One hundred percent of all contributions go directly to local hospitals; overhead expenses are contributed separately by the Florida Forestry Association, the Children's Miracle Network, and corporate and private underwriting. There are currently Log A Load campaigns in 30 states, making LAL a major CMN donor.

2008 - Thanks to the generosity and hard work of Florida’s loggers, industry and related forest business and individuals, checks totaling over $105,000 were mailed out this month to three Florida Children’s Hospitals. Sacred Heart received a check for $52,320, followed by Shands for $38,372 and Shands Jacksonville / Wolfson Hospital and Pediatrics at $14.658. Florida's forestry community has raised $1.5 million for Florida Children's Hospitals since 1995.
