2008 Dues Categories

  • Associate/Vendor: Bank; Consultant (other than Consulting Forester); Insurance Agency; Insurance Company; Law Firm; Nursery; Real Estate Company; Retail/Wholesale Forest Product Company; and any other affiliated businesses—based on gross sales to the forest industry as follows: $285 (up to $250,000 sales); $398 ($250,000-$500,000 sales); $681 ($500,000-$1,000,000 sales); $1136 ($1,000,000-$5,000,000 sales); $1420 (over $5,000,000 sales).
  • Chemical Manufacturer—$434.
  • Consulting Forester—$217 base plus $72 per technical employee.
  • Forest Equipment Supplier—$434-$1087-$1738.
  • Forest Products Processor—$2756.
  • Friend of Forestry—$58 (Company, government, or institutional employees).
  • Hunting Club—$71 base plus $.028/acre.
  • Logger/Timber Dealer—(Production): $145 base plus $.0058/ton; (Acreage owned/leased): $71 base plus $.072/acre (up to 500 acres). $145 base plus $.072/acre (501-1000 acres). $361 base plus $.072/acre (over 1000 acres).
  • Nonindustrial Landowner—$71 base plus $.072/acre (up to 500 acres). $145 base plus $.072/acre (501-1000 acres). $361 base plus $.072/acre (over 1000 acres).
  • Plywood Plant/Pole & Piling Producer/Sawmill/Veneer Mill—(Production): $145 base plus $.0234/ton; (Acreage owned/leased): $71 base plus $.072/acre (up to 500 acres). $145 base plus $.072/acre (501-1000 acres). $361 base plus $.072/acre (over 1000 acres).
  • Pulp & Paper Industry—$7247 base per Florida company plus consumption of Florida wood at $.0058/ton, plus acreage fee for Florida land owned and leased at $.0435/acre.
  • Silvicultural Contractor (Applicator/Herbicide Distributor/Planting/Site Prep)—Based on the total # of acres where any application is applied as follows: $145 (up to 10,000 acres)—$434 (10,001-25,000 acres)—$723 (25,001 + acres).
  • Student Member—$28.
  • Treating Plant—$291 base plus $.0797/100 cubic feet (all treated products).
  • Wholesale Forest Exporter/Fuel Wood Supplier/Oriented Strand Board/Manufacturer of Hardwood and Pine Chips/Chips Exporter and Importer—Based on tons exported: $145 base plus $.0058/ton.
