What is RSS?
RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication, a technology which delivers web feeds complete with content summaries as well as links to the full versions of the content right to your computer. By downloading and installing any RSS reader, you will be updated whenever the Florida Forestry Association adds a new press release or news article.
What are some RSS readers?
Some commonly used news readers are Feed Demon, Sharp Reader, and NewsGator (an Outlook plugin) for Windows, Mail.app (comes bundled with Mac OS), NetNewsWire and Shrook for Macs, your most commonly used web browser and Bloglines.com for those who like web-based readers.
