The Plan of Work outlines the activities of focus for the year. The plan is designed to deliver the most return on investment for every segment of our membership. Committee involvement is the key to accomplishing these goals.

Strategic Plan

A healthy business environment for Florida’s forestry community is the ultimate vision in the Association’s new Strategic Plan. What will we do to get there? A copy of the plan is available here.

Nominate a Young Leader for the Future

Is a rising forestry star working for you or your business?  To help the Association recognize future leaders, we are looking for individuals 40 or younger who exhibit potential leadership abilities in forestry, community outreach or political involvement. We want to know who are the young entrepreneurs whose business has made record jumps in recent years; the political activists who have the ears of our elected officials and those who have chosen forestry, logging, or land management as a career. 

In the past four years we have recognized the following individuals:

Class I - 2006

Jamie Boland, Russ Hannon, Greg Driskell, Coy Webb II, Philip Smith, Travis Oldeshaw, Ward Frisina, Ed Cole, Scott Sager.

 

 

 

Class II - 2007
